Ode To A Dramatic Writing Student

There once was a talented writer
Who was inspired by the end of her lighter
She wrote plays at night
By the glow of blunt light
Which made her dialogue much tighter

She sat there typing quite madly
because she'd procrastinated so sadly
The inspiration she seeks
Usually takes fifteen weeks
Let's hope this doesn't turn out too badly

A professor sits somewhere in a chair
quietly epitaphing with care
No need for surprise
As one might surmise
'cause these kids do the same shit every year
